报告内容简介:

Lanthanide-containing clusters are a family of polynuclear complexes with aesthetically pleasing structures and interesting properties (Figure 1). Significant efforts have been devoted to their syntheses and magnetic studies. In this talk, our recent progress in the construction of such unique giant molecular entities by a rational approach that is based on the use of deliberately introduced anion templates [1,2] will be discussed. The potential use of some of the cage-like 3d-4f heterometallic clusters for catalyzing organic transformations of significant energy and environmental ramifications will also be presented.[3]

    报告人简介

    郑智平,国家特聘专家、英国皇家化学会会士,现为南方科技大学讲席教授、化学系主任。1987和1990年分获北京大学学士与硕士学位1995年获加州大学洛杉矶分校博士学位(导师:M. Frederick Hawthorne教授),随后在哈佛大学Richard H. Holm教授的指导下从事博士后研究,并于1997年受聘亚利桑那大学,历任化学与生物化学系助理教授、副教授、教授及科研与人事副系主任。2017年7月聘南方科技大学。

    郑智平教授长期致力于过渡金属以及稀土元素功能配合物的设计与合成、性质探索以及材料应用研究涉及无机化学、金属有机化学、纳米以及材料化学等领域,Nature ChemistryNature MaterialsAccounts of Chemical Research、Journal of the American Chemical Society、Angewandte Chemie International Edition标志性专业杂志上发表论文160余篇编著了第一本关于稀土及锕系元素簇化学与材料的专著。郑智平教授曾任Crystal Growth and Design主题编辑顾问,现任Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers 副主编、Journal of Rare Earths海外编委、《无机化学学报》编委。
